Guangzhou Twin Towers

Located in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, the Twin Towers are two super high-rise buildings and one of the future landmarks of Guangzhou.

The West Tower, Guangzhou International Finance Center (广州国际金融中心), was designed by Wilkinson Eyre and stands at 437.5 meters high, and the helipad reaches 449.2 meters. There are 103 floors above ground and 4 floors underground. It covers an area of 31,000 square meters and has a total construction area of 456,000 square meters. The main building of Guangzhou International Finance Center is 1-66 floors for office buildings, 67-100 floors for hotels, and the first floor for office buildings with a ceiling of 13.5 meters. The podium is a shopping mall with 4 floors and a building area of 44,000 square meters.

For views from Guangzhou IFC, you can head to the Four Seasons Hotel lobby on the 70th floor or Sky Bar on the 99th floor for views over the city. There is also a seafood restaurant on the 100th floor. Note the lobby is quite amazing, with its center being open all the way up to the sky.

The East Tower, Guangzhou Chow Tai Fook Finance Centre (广州东塔), by Kohn Pedersen Fox stands at 530 meters with 111 floors above ground and 5 floors underground. It is divided into three parts: K11 Office is located on the 7-66 floor, serviced apartments are located on the 68-91 floor, a total of 364 rooms, the hotel is located on the 93-108 floor, a total of 252 rooms.

Both towers are located at Zhujiang New Town, the city’s central business district, in Tianhe District. The West Tower became operational in 2010 and the East Tower opened in 2016.
