Guangzhou International Finance Center – GZIFC

Guangzhou International Finance Center (广州国际金融中心), also known as GZIFC and Guangzhou West Tower, was designed by Wilkinson Eyre and stands at 437.5 meters high, with a helipad that reaches 449.2 meters. There are 103 floors above ground and 4 floors underground. It covers an area of 31,000 square meters and has a total construction area of 456,000 square meters.

The main building of Guangzhou International Finance Center is 1-66 floors for office buildings, 67-100 floors for hotels, and the first floor for office buildings with a ceiling of 13.5 meters. The podium is a shopping mall with 4 floors and a building area of 44,000 square meters. In 2017 after completion, Guangzhou International Finance Center was awarded the LEED Platinum Green Building Certification by the US Green Building Council.

Guangzhou IFC Shopping Mall – Guangzhou Friendship Store (广州友谊商店店)
The Guangzhou IFC Shopping Mall/Friendship Store is located in the north podium from B1 to the 5th floor. There is a Lego flagship store here, Starbucks, Costa Coffee, lots of local fashion brands and on the top floor of the mall, its all food with seven eateries to chose from.

Four Seasons Hotel

I personally think the new Four Seasons is one of the best value five-star hotels in the area offering amazing views from its location on the 74th to 98th floors of the Guangzhou IFC not to mention its spectacular atrium with a view all the way up. Ascott Serviced Apartments

The Ascott occupies the north and south attached buildings of IFC. They offer luxury apartments along with restaurant, pool, gymnasium, mini-theatre, kids room, and a rooftop mini-golf course with a view (pictured above). More info and rates

Observation Deck

For views from Guangzhou IFC, you can head to the Four Seasons Hotel lobby and Atrium Bar on the 70th floor or Tian Bar on the 99th floor for views over the city. There is also a seafood restaurant on the 100th floor. Note the lobby is quite amazing, with its center being open all the way up to the sky.

Getting there: You can take the metro line 3 or line 5 to Zhujiang New Town Station (Pearl River New Town Station) and walk around 5 mins. Or take the APM line to Grand Theatre Station and walk five minutes.
