Baomo Garden

Baomo Garden is a large area featuring garden, artworks, architecture and more. It is located in Ziwei Village, Shawan Town, Panyu. The buildings and landscapes in Baomo Garden mainly include Zhiben Hall, Baomo Hall, Qingxin Pavilion, Yanglian Bridge, Longtu Pavilion, Qianxiang Corridor including the folk brick carvings and porcelain carvings.

There are two exquisite folk brick carvings in front of Baomo Garden and there are also a large number of gray, stone, pottery and rosewood carvings, as well as traditional palace lanterns. The large-scale painted embossed porcelain mural “The Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival” is the treasure of the town of Baomo Park, which has been listed as the largest porcelain mural in Guinness World Records.

In addition, Baomo Garden is still a museum, the most eye-catching is Zhao Tailai Art Palace and Zhao Tailai Collection. Inside there are 1,600 collections donated by Mr. Zhao, including wood carvings, bronzes, and ancient jade. In the collection hall, there are various calligraphy and paintings.

As a park, there are many plants planted in the park, and a large number of Lingnan bonsais are planted. In addition to trees, flowers and buildings, there are turtle ponds, koi ponds, lotus ponds, etc. In the flavored food street, you can taste the Panyu specialties snack ginger milk, fish dumplings, etc., all delicious.
