Baiyun Mountain (inc map & how to get there)

Baiyun Mountain, which literally means White Cloud Mountain, is a very popular natural attraction Guangzhou. If you reach one of the peaks at the right time you will see why it was given such a name with the mountain being encircled by beautiful clouds.

The area consists of more than 30 peaks and at the main peak, Moxing Ridge, you can look down the whole city from top to bottom. Whenever the spring season or sometimes after rain, there are white clouds between the mountains, and Baiyun Mountain is named after it.

The most beautiful season in Baiyun Mountain is in the spring, and the beauty of the flowers is enough to make people move, with the sparkling lake surface, breathing fresh air, and the mood is extremely calm.

• Mingchun Valley Tourist Area 鸣春谷游览区 (main attractions are Mingchun Valley, Peak Park, which is mainly for bird watching)

Recommended for Guangzhou Baiyun Mountain Tour Route

There are many entrances to Guangzhou Baiyun Mountain. You can visit particular sections or take hikes from one side to the other.

Xiao Bian suggested entering from Yuntai Garden and exit from the West Gate. Yuntai Garden – Nengren Temple – Mingchun Valley – Peak Park – Moxing Ridge – Taohuayu – Huangpodong Reservoir – West Gate.

XinXin Tourism recommends a route from Yunxi Ecological Park to the main peak of Moxing Ridge, with a length of 3.19 kilometers. First enter the Heyiling tourist area and visit the three parks of Yunxi Ecological Park.
