Baishuizhai Scenic Resort

Baishuizhai Scenic Spot is located in Paitan Town, the northern mountainous area of ​​Zengcheng District, Guangzhou. Its hiking trail spans three mountains with a total of 9999 stone steps. The main attractions from the bottom up are the Trollwater Valley, the sea boat boardwalk, the 1499-level platform, the 2199-level platform, the 3299-level waterfall platform, and the 4099-level which is the source of the waterfalls. It takes about 5-6 hours to climb. Most of the tourists climb to the 4099 level at most, because after that, they are pure mountain climbing, the scenery is general, and the physical strength is generally ended at 2199.

Starting from the foot of the mountain, first of all the interesting water valley spots, you can see some paintings on the trees and stones, which is very suitable for taking pictures. Then there is the sea boat boardwalk, the sea boat boardwalk and the hiking trail start point are connected, both to the 1499 level waterfall station. The plank road is built with water and there are several pavilions and observation decks along the way. Take a stroll and watch the waterfalls while breathing fresh air. Go to level 1499 and you will be able to reach the first waterfall.

After that, you can continue to climb up the hiking trail to the second point of the waterfall at 2199. Because the 2199 to 899 downhill can only rely on walking, so preserve some physical strength. If the physical strength is still acceptable, you can continue to go up to the 3299 level, you can reach the third level waterfall point – Mu waterfall platform. From the top of the mountain, the waterfall falls, and the waterfall with a drop of 428.5 meters is in sight. Then pass through the “Shenxiangou”, you can reach the source of the waterfall at 4099 level. After that, you can continue to go up if you are keen.

If hiking upstairs is not your thing then there are shuttles that do circuits up to the top of the mountain and the waterfalls and back down.
