HSBC’s former site – Shamian Island

The No. 54 building in Shaping is located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Shamian Street and Shamian Street and was the original site of HSBC. In this building, you can see the Baroque towers and the Romanesque Doric double columns, all of which are very classic Western classical architecture.

The building has four floors, the second floor has a through-column to a three-story roof, and a vaulted pavilion is built on the southwestern floor.

The fourth façade of the building focuses on the tower at the southwest corner of the roof. The dome of the hemispherical shell is placed on the drum base to form the top of the tower, and the flagpole is also erected on the curved top.
